to Murdawg Custom, your home for top quality Custom and Performance Automobiles and Parts.
Established in February of 2006 by John W. Murray, Murdawg Custom has been rapidly expanding to support our growing clientele. I have built my business around only doing the best quality of work for my customers, and it has paid off for us as well as them. Who else would be able to enjoy the vehicles we build? You’ll see…
Starting in a small building at our complex where we now do all of our body and paint work, we have now expanded into a two building facility on a quater acre site. One of the great benefits of our shop is that we are an all-in-one house. No - bring your car to three different shops to get it done. At Murdawg Custom, we handle every aspect of a restoration or custom build. We have a full service mechanical, body, paint and trim shop. Another thing that separates us from other shops is we don’t choose to specialize in any particular type or brand of vehicle because the only thing we do specialize in is doing top quality work.
The 89 Firebird is getting close to completion. All of the jams are currently
pearled up and we are starting to put all the panels on to prepare for
the final coats of paint. Once the car is assembled, we still need to
finish wet sanding the body and mask it for painting the body.
A 56 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 1 is our newest project. The interior has
been pulled from the car and the wood has all been removed and sent out
to get redone. We used a combination of soda blasting, sand blasting,
and sanding to remove the old and stubborn lacquer. The car is in good
shape all around, but will still be getting quite a few new panels. Within
the next few weeks the body will be off the frame and everything will
be heading to the paint booth for primer. Keep checking back for progress
and updated pictures; this one is going to be a big beauty.
We are currently booked through the summer, but we are looking to start
getting projects lined up for the fall and winter. We only work on one
to two cars at time so that we can focus to get them done as quickly as
possible. If you are considering getting some work done to the love of
your automotive life, contact us for an estimate. Fall and winter spots
will be filling soon.
Murdawg
Custom is looking to open a second shop in the lower New Hampshire area,
so if you are from that area and would like to get some work done let
us know so we can work on getting that site open.
